Carrie
Brown Foundation is a registered charitable organization
that was established in memory of Carrie Anne Brown,
who at the age of 14, was killed in a tragic car accident
in Orlando, Florida. This organization relies on the
generous support of donors to help support the less
fortunate youth of Florida by giving scholarships to
children to attend the YMCA Camp Wewa in Apopka Florida
which was Carrie’s favorite place to attend camp.
We are proud of our contributions to help improve the
life of children and heartened by the generosity and
commitment of our supporters.

The Carrie Brown Foundation was founded by
Carrie’s mother, Rita Brown, who resides
in Central Florida and is CEO of the world-renowned
gymnastics training centers, “Brown’s
Gymnastics”. Rita is an Olympic Gymnastics
Coach who has donated over $30,000 to help support
area schools as well as Camp Wewa’s outside
recreational facilities including their new
“Goliath” Climbing Wall. Her goal
is to establish an ongoing, perpetual scholarship
fund so children can attend Carrie’s favorite
camp and partake in the same enjoyable sports
activities that Carrie so much enjoyed participating
in.
