Carrie Brown at the young age of 14 was killed in a tragic car accident on August 7, 2000 on her way home from the first day of school. Carrie attended the Greenwood Lakes Middle School in Lake Mary Florida and was in the eighth grade. Carrie was a very active young girl. She participated and excelled in many sports.

Carrie held the highest record for 2 consecutive summers at Camp Wewa in both Archery and Riflery. Carrie had a keen eye and was quite the marksman. She enjoyed soccer and played on a co-ed basketball team. Her goal was to go to high school and break the record of number of varsity letters ever earned over a four-year period. She wanted to attend Bishop Moore High School and break the record that is held by her sister, Jennifer Brown and still stands today.
